Yesterday was hands down the best day I had ever had at Canada's Wonderland...
why you may ask? Well, several reasons... 34 rides on Behemoth, thats just a fraction of why the day was so awesome..
We also did several re-rides on all of our favourite coasters and rides... we re-rode Drop Tower, Minebuster, and Behemoth the most. We also got all 15 credits today, which brings me to another point.
I finally got on Taxi Jam! Call me a credit whore, but darn I'm so glad I finally did. Thanks to the father who let us pretend we were with him, sorry I didn't catch your name but you were awesome!
I also finally got a chance to ride Scooby Doo's haunted mansion, and I didn't have to wait forever. It was actually pretty fun, although the guns had to be aimer towards the left and on an angle of the targets to get them, which was annoying. I thought it was kind of like a stupid drug trip, it was WAAAY too glowy. Stan and I mentioned how it would be nice to bring in your own Time Crisis Gun and start shooting the ghosts on shotgun mode. xD
I think after this we went to go on Drop Tower, and ended up mesmerized by the Rogers booth, we played around with the Android phones for a while, entered some contests and then left...
Drop Tower Car 3 broke down, so we avoided it for now.
We hit up Nightmares and did a re-ride, no wait. Walk on ride. After that, we went to Dragon Fire and then headed across the street to Wendys for lunch. Saved so much money!
We got back, went on Behemoth a couple more times blah blah blah. I'm going leave a blank description in this part of our day, because I don't remember what happened. XD
We were then walking back from I think Drop Tower (which we went on 6 times in a row, with a nice walk on ride), and we stopped to talk to some park management. I asked Chris about the giant sarcophagauses in the Junk Yard and he confirmed that they were indeed part of a Halloween Haunt a few years back. The minute I mentioned CWMania he seemed much more interested, I told him about Tim's interview with Russ and his reaction to how we knew KD is getting a Giga Coaster, and he didn't seemed surprised that we knew himself... so I guess he's a little more up to date.
We then rode Behemoth a couple of more times, (Making it 25) and went off for supper. We went across the street to Subway(which I forgot was there and is much closer than wendys) and I got a footlong Meatball Marinara for $7.29. Pretty good deal, considering a bucket of fries cost more than that in the park.
We rode Behemoth 8 more times, whilst I made up a catch phrase, Decent Descent! Say that like its the same word, but its not at the same time and it sounds AWESOME.
We then headed over to see my favourite crew in the park, Minebuster! We rode it a good few times until closing... I honestly LOVE that crew. They've always been so funny and efficient, so I went to guest services and gave them a guest compliment. I hope you guys get a Blue Crew of Excellence Flag for your work, you deserve! Thanks Jen, Eric and Karen!
It started raining just as we headed to guest services at 10:00 PM, so we booted it out of the guest services building after filling out our compliment forums (which got a little wet!) and took our time walking to my mom's car. Stan complained that it was raining, but it was victory rain dammit!

T-shirts - and a new ride?!
Would you like to support my blog(s)? How about a t-shirt!
Check out my cafepress store for more designs like this! Consumerism! Fun! http://cafepress.com/mixeddrink
Back to the real purpose of a blog (although some could disagree)..
the park reps this saturday at Behemothon when asked about activity in the boneyard stated that "There will be big changes for Wonderland for the 30th anniversary".
Maybe it's just me, but I crapped my pants in joy when I read this. :)
Will we get a new ride? I freaking hope so.

No Behemothon for me? Sadness.
Unfortunately, this year I'm not going to be able to go to Behemothon (Yet again), Sadness.
But really, not too disappointed, I can stand the constant ten minute lines for Behemoth =]
I wish all of you who are lucky enough to go to Behemothon this year an amazing time!
(Way to go Pattee, yelling at your mom =] )

Mysterious Intamin Coaster on Wonderland Website?
A number of supports and crates have been seen in the bone yard at Canada's Wonderland, there has been much speculation and rumor to this. Not a big deal. But recently, Canada's Wonderland has updated their website with a new header. If you look at behind Psyclone, there is mysterious Intamin looking track. Not only this, but in an e-newsletter, Wonderland mentioned a surprise event at some point this summer. New coaster? Who knows. We will have to wait and see.

Wonderland - Photo Trip Report! 05/16/2009
WOOONDEEEERRLANDD! :D

So, we arrived at Wonderland yesterday to find a 5 minute line for Behemoth. I kid you not. This was a sign of good things to come.
As you can see, the line is non-existent.
So, we rode Behemoth a couple of times, and headed to Ital- erm. "Back Lot Stunt Coaster".
That name is freaking retarded.
An okay ride, FOR ABOUT TWO SECONDS.
During the LIMS, yeah, it's fun. But that bank into the helix is so incredibly painful, and the helix gets so incredibly slow, it's not worth it. To top that off the fire isn't on yet. 2/5
We then headed to Flight Deck, but the line was WAAY to long. Erm, no. So we skipped it for now and booted it to The Mighty Canadian Minebuster (One of the view coasters that actually HAS the in it's name, but you wouldn't know that listening to the GP.).
It's a lot better than last year, it's actually starting to become kind of fun. Still rough as hell on the Helix though. 3/5
We went to Swings of the Century, where the whole cast of Superstar ended up operating. xD
A ride op named Sean totally looks like Will Ferral, and another ride op we later saw at the ride looks like Molly Shannon.
Then we went to Kidzville, but stopped at Vortex along the way. These retarded (and not literally, that's the sad part) girls were in line, asking us a bunch of crap. "What school do you go to?" blah blah blah. So I turn to Mac and say "Deja Vu", because it definitely wasn't the first time we ran into total idiots. So they said "Oh, so you get hit on by sexy girls all the time I bet?", and they definitely did not fit into that category. So I said, "No, but definitely another not-so-fun adjective".
Vortex was good, not my favourite pretty fun though. 4/5
Running fast that day.
So we headed to Kidzville and got denied on Chopper Chase (God Dammit!) So instead we hopped on Jokey's Jalopies and it broke down. >:(
But,within a good 10 minutes it was fixed, So I couldn't complain.

LUNCH TIME!
We headed over to Hot Potato and some Hot Dog place to get lunch, but ended up sitting inside coasters because, well, we're cool like that.

Mmm, poutine. :)
Creepy faces at Coasters Diner. :)

It's raining flowers.

It's raining flowers.
The carousel was fine, but it was worth the slowing down. I guess someone was making out on the carousel, so we're just sitting there, and the ride op goes over the loudspeaker; "Please refrain from making out on the carousel, thank you."
xD
Seemingly out of nowhere. :P
We went to Fightertown Funnel Cakes by Flight Deck to get, some well, Funnel Cakes. Not a fan, but at least it's off my to do list!
After that we went on Flight Deck. Ow.
Not much else exciting happened after that, although Ghoaster Coaster has become one of my favourite rides. :) Its smooth, and pulls decent Gs. :)
So, overall great day. It was supposed to Thunderstorm, but thankfully, it didn't. :)
This is going to be a GREAT season.

Opening day! Quick trip report.
I've been busy, so I haven't been able to post my opening day trip report until today.
Let me start off by saying, wow was the park deserted! It was bloody opening day and the longest the line for Behemoth got was 15 minutes! Granted Ghoster Coaster was surprisingly long.
First off, we got at the park just before opening, so I waited with the gaggle at the holding lines. This was the longest line all day for Behemoth, park opening. Disappointed Orbiter didn't open until 11:00, we headed over to the fly where we waited about 15 minutes. It was running better than it usually is. We then started towards the Hot Potato by Coasters diner. Mmmm, I love their poutine! We sat down inside coasters, my sisters friend wanted a burger and a milkshake. It looked gross, I'm really glad I don't go there anymore. Overpriced, cold food.
We then headed to Orbiter, a pretty fun ride, not great.
I ditched my sister and her friend and rode Behemoth a couple of times. I met up with a fellow CWMania member, (bnlboy) which was pretty cool. There was also another CWMania member I saw multiple times but never could say hi to. I met up with my sister and her friend and rode Swings of the Century with them. My cellphone fell out of my pocket, and I'm REALLY glad my sister noticed it on the ground. That ride doesn't return you to the same spot, and I probably wouldn't have bothered to go check until it was possibly too late.
We went to the Medevial Faire area and rode the Rage, it sucked.
I then convinced my sister to go on Nightmares, which she enjoyed, oddly enough.
I then went on drop zone, hell of a short line today. Even though a car was down it was cycling pretty well. Not as scary as it used to be, but still a stomach turner, always will be.
Then, well, I saw... the giant bananas. Yes, my infamous, giant bananas.
Since I layed eyes on them I've wanted one. It was a tennis ball throwing game, I sucked at it. A ball had gotten lose and was rolling around behind me so the Civi-carny (Civillized Carny, not like at fairs) let me use that ball too. After my fifth ball, I was disappointed and slightly angry so I whipped the ball and I... smashed a freakin' plate! Finally. Maybe thats a good tactic (*cough*, should of listened to the civi-carny)
So, I ditched them again, went on Behemoth a few more times (eight times by the end of the day) met up with them, rode Sledge Hammer (alone of course) and rode Psyclone (most uncomfortable flat on earth).
Eight o' clock already? Holy crap! Time to head home!
All in all, it was a great day at the park. I'm sure it's going to be a great season, due to the recession and the Swine Flu outbreak, lines should be signifigantly shortened!

A new season!
At time of writing, there is only 10 days and 43 minutes until Canada's Wonderland opens its doors to the public! Very excited to see any changes to the park, however minor they may be. Unfortunately, there will be nothing new this season, however, rumor is that 2010 (Wonderland's 30th anniversary) will bring an exciting new ride. Wonderland being North Americas top attended seasonal park, we should expect some more attention from Cedar Fair!
